Personal — Your private personal bookmarks

Work — Your private work bookmarks

Shared — Bookmarks shared with others. Create folders to share links.

Sharing Folders

• Public folders — Leave "Share with" empty; visible to all users

• Private sharing — Enter email addresses to share only with specific users

• Managing access — Edit a folder to add or remove emails from the share list

• Revoking access — Remove an email and save; that user loses access immediately

Adding Bookmarks

• Drag & Drop — Drag a URL from your browser's address bar or a link onto the drop zone

• + Bookmark button — Click to manually add a bookmark with name, URL, tags, and folder

Using Bookmarks

• Click link — Opens the bookmark in a new tab (or popup if configured)

• Copy icon (📋) — Click the copy icon next to any link to copy its URL to clipboard

Organizing

• Folders — Create folders with the + Folder button to organize bookmarks

• Drag to reorder — Drag bookmarks onto other bookmarks to reorder within a folder

• Drag to folder — Drag bookmarks or folders onto folder headers to move them

• Cross-profile — Drag items onto profile buttons to move or copy between profiles

Tags & Search

• Tags — Add comma-separated tags when creating/editing bookmarks

• Filter by tag — Click tag pills above the bookmark list to filter

• Search — Type in the search bar to find bookmarks by name or URL

Edit Mode

• Pencil icon (✏️) — Edit mode enabled, you can drag, edit, and delete

• Lock icon (🔒) — Read-only mode, prevents accidental changes

Import from Chrome

Step 1: Export from Chrome

• Open Chrome → Bookmarks → Bookmark Manager (or Ctrl+Shift+O)

• Click the ⋮ menu (top right) → "Export bookmarks"

• Save the HTML file to your computer

Step 2: Import into this app

• Select the profile you want (Personal, Work, or Shared)

• Click the "Import" button in the toolbar

• Select the HTML file you exported from Chrome

• Bookmarks will be added to the root of the current profile

Organizing after import:

• Drag imported folders/bookmarks into existing folders

• Or drag them onto profile buttons to move to another profile

Export to Chrome

• Click "Export" to download bookmarks.html

• In Chrome: Bookmark Manager → ⋮ → "Import bookmarks"

• Select the downloaded HTML file

Other Features

• Open in popup — Check this option to open links in a minimal popup window

• Theme toggle — Switch between dark and light mode (sun/moon icon)

Install as App (PWA)

You can install this as a standalone app on your device:

Desktop (Chrome/Edge):

• Click the install icon (⊕) in the address bar, or

• Menu → "Install Bookmark Manager..."

iPhone/iPad:

• Tap the Share button (□↑)

• Scroll down and tap "Add to Home Screen"

Android:

• Tap the menu (⋮) → "Add to Home screen" or "Install app"

Once installed, the app opens in its own window without browser UI.
